Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- Sammanthurai Pradeshiya Sabha cricket team beat Sammanthurai Base Hospital team in the final to emerge champions of the Sammanthurai Inter Division Departmental Cricket Tournament conducted by the Sammanthurai Divisional Secretariat and held at the Sammanthurai Central College play grounds recently.

This tournament was organised by the Sammanthurai Divisional Secretary (DS) S.L.M.Haniffa and the staff to mark the 'Health and Sports Promotion Week'-2025.

Four teams, Sammanthurai Pradeshiya Sabha (PS), Base Hospital (BH), Divisional Secretariat (DS) 'A' and 'B' competed at this tounerment. The final match was played between the Sammanthurai Pradeshiya Sabha and Sammanthurai Base Hospital teams.
