Sri Lanka, Nov. 24 -- The Opposition and Samagi Jana Balavegaya leader Sajith Premadasa took full responsibility of arranging a possible tie-up between his party and the United National Party, the SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said yesterday.

He was speaking to the media in Colombo following a meeting attended by SJB leaders under the patronage of Premadasa to finalise nominations for party organisers post and discuss future strategies of the party. In reply to questions from journalists, Madduma Bandara said the SJB and UNP talks for a possible unification were ongoing.

He said party leader had assured during yesterday's meeting that he will take responsibility for a possible tie-up.
