Srilanka, Feb. 26 -- The long-awaited 14th South Asian Games (SAG) will take place in Pakistan from January 23 to 31, 2026, marking the return of the event after seven years. The games will be hosted in Lahore, Islamabad, and Faisalabad, officials announced yesterday.

This will be the first time the SAG is held since the last edition in 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The announcement came after a productive meeting of the Executive Committee of the South Asia Olympic Council (SAOC) in Lahore.
