Sri Lanka, Feb. 10 -- Dr. Kirinde Assaji Thero, Chief Incumbent of the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, has issued a final call to devotees wishing to pay their respects to the Sacred Devnimori relics of Lord Buddha.

While the temple will remain open for a continuous 24-hour period today (10), the public is urged not to join the queues after 10:00 p.m. tonight to ensure a smooth conclusion of the exposition.

The sacred relics are scheduled to be returned to India tomorrow morning (11) at 6:00 a.m

A high-level Indian delegation-including the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel, and the Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Chowna Mein-arrived in the island yesterday to oversee the repatriation of the relics.
