Sri Lanka, March 5 -- S.C. Muthukumarana was sworn in as a Member of Parliament before Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardane.

Muthukumarana was appointed to fill the MP seat which was left vacant after the resignation of SLPP MP of Anuradhapura Constituency, Uddika Premarathne.
