Sri Lanka, Sept. 15 -- S.Thomas' College Mount Lavinia emerged winners of the annual sailing encounter against their traditional rivals Royal College Colombo, held at the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club (CMYC) at Bolgoda Lake. The Thomians also secured the overall trophy in a thrilling battle that ended with both schools finishing on equal points.

S.Thomas' College dominated the Optimist events, while Royal College had the upper hand in the Laser races. The Thomians won the Optimist team races and individual titles, while Royal clinched the Laser individual and Team B events. In the final tally, both schools ended level with 11-all points, but the Thomians were declared winners of the trophy.
