Sri Lanka, April 24 -- A South Korean Naval Ship 'Kang Gam Chan', the 44 th Escort Task Group (ETG) arrived at Colombo Port on Tuesday. The port call was followed by a reception and was graced by South Korean Ambassador in Colombo Miyon Lee, Defence Deputy Minister Major Gen. (Retd.) K.P. Aruna Jayasekara, Commanders of all Three Armed Forces.
The port call of ROKS Kang Gam Chan marked an important landmark given that this is the second visit of a Korea's Naval Ship within a span of 18 months.
