Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- The Government has allocated a provision of Rs.330 billion for salary increases in the public service, said Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, Prof. Chandana Abeyratne told Parliament yesterday (19).
"Rs.330 billion has been allocated for salary increases in the public service, comprising Rs.110 billion for 2025, Rs.110 billion for 2026 and another Rs.110 billion for 2027, the Minister said, adding that this salary increase is being made with the aim of maintaining a more efficient and dignified service in the public service.
