Sri Lanka, May 12 -- The Government has announced plans to complete Sri Lanka's first multimodal transport hub, currently under construction in Kandy, by 2027.
This state-of-the-art project, considered a turning point in the country's transport sector, is expected to cost around Rs. 15 billion.
Transport, Highways and Civil Aviation Deputy Minister Dr. Prasanna Gunasena, revealed these details to the media during an inspection visit to the construction site.
