Sri Lanka, Jan. 19 -- The Catholic Church has many saints who are duly venerated. As we all know the town of Moratuwa is famous for splendid wooden furniture and music. The area is a Catholic stronghold. At the centre of the town, across the Railway Station, a church stands grandly amidst the traffic. The Church of Saint Sebastian has been here since 1875, making it one of the oldest of Sacred sanctuaries from the vintage era of Ceylon. The feast of Saint Sebastian is celebrated annually on January 20.
