Sri Lanka, Nov. 13 -- The Department of Registrar General has launched a pilot project to deliver national birth certificates directly to citizens through the Sri Lanka Postal Courier Service.
The pilot project was inaugurated yesterday (12) at the Gampaha District Secretariat under the patronage of Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government Chandana Abeyratne.
It is part of a collaborative effort between the Registrar General's Department and the Postal Department to ensure secure, accurate, and timely delivery of official documents.
