Srilanka, April 18 -- Determined to earn a place among Asia's top four rugby nations, Sri Lanka has named a powerful 23-member squad under the leadership of experienced fly half Nigel Ratwatte for the Asia Rugby Emirates Men's Championship Play-Off against Malaysia, set for this Saturday, April 19, at the Racecourse Grounds in Colombo 7.
The final squad was approved yesterday by the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Sunil Kumara Gamage, on the unanimous recommendation of Sri Lanka Rugby's Competent Authority and Director General of Sports, Prof. Shemal Fernando, following the decision of the National Selection Committee led by Sudath Sampath.
