Sri Lanka, March 28 -- The inauguration of the construction of Ratnapura New Town Park took place yesterday (27) at a cost of Rs. 100 million with the participation of Sabaragamuwa Provincial Governor Navin Dissanayake and Provincial Councils (PC) and Local Government (LG) Acting Minister, Janaka Wakkumbura.
The Sabaragamuwa PC and the Sri Lanka Army are jointly carrying out construction work and it is expected to be completed within four months.
Dissanayake, commenting said that Sri Lanka needs a head of State, like Anura Tennakoon, who was a famous talented cricketer of the 70s. He is one of the five best batsmen in our country's cricket history. They are Aravinda de Silva, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Roy Dias and Anura Tennak...
