Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- The Kahathuduwa Police have once again arrested popular rapper Madhava Prasad, alias Madhuva, this time with a cache of explosives.
Police recovered 3 gelignite sticks, 5 detonators, and 3.5 kg of ammonium nitrate following a tip-off. The explosives were found buried behind a house in the Pitipana Gala Hena area where the suspect resides.
Earlier, on August 25, the 26-year-old was arrested with a fake pistol at the Mount Clifford Ama Complex in Kahathuduwa but was later released on bail after being produced before the Kesbewa Magistrate's Court.
