Sri Lanka, Aug. 30 -- Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe who was receiving treatment from the Colombo National Hospital since last Saturday, left the hospital yesterday evening. The former President was transferred to a medical ward from the Intensive Care Unit hospital yesterday morning after his medical condition improved.
United National Party's media unit said yesterday that Wickremesinghe will take rest at his residence in accordance with the medical advice even after leaving the hospital.
