Sri Lanka, Dec. 20 -- Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka who was arrested in connection with a case where he had allegedly caused a motor accident in 2016 in which a youth was critically injured, was yesterday ordered to be further remanded till December 24, by Colombo Additional Magistrate Kanchana Neranjana de Silva.

On the instructions given by the Attorney General, the Colombo Crimes Division arrested former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka at his residence and produced him before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court on December 18.
