Srilanka, May 21 -- Ramith Rambukwella, son of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, appeared before the Bribery Commission today (21) to provide a statement, following a court order issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali.

This development comes as part of an ongoing investigation into three corruption complaints involving former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, who was arrested and remains in remand custody. The Magistrate ordered that he be further remanded until June 3.

Additionally, the court granted permission for the Bribery Commission to name Ramith Rambukwella as a suspect in the case. His appearance before the Commission follows that directive.
