Sri Lanka, Sept. 12 -- Sri Lanka Rugby has officially reappointed Sri Lions Sports Club coach and former national player Rajeew Perera, 45, as the Assistant Coach cum Manager of the National Rugby 7s team for the Asia Rugby Emirates Sevens Trophy 2025.

A respected figure in local and international rugby, Rajeew is a World Rugby Level 3 Coach, Educator, and accredited trainer, having earned his qualifications in New Zealand and South Africa.

A proud product of St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya, he captained his school side before playing for Havelock Sports Club for more than 14 years, also serving as captain.
