Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Pakistan bowlers, led by skipper Fatima Sana, produced a superb display to leave England Women reeling at 79 for 7 wickets before rain halted play after 25 overs in their Women's World Cup fixture at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
Put in to bat first, England's top order collapsed under overcast skies. Pakistan's new-ball pair, Fatima Sana and Diana Baig, struck early with with sharp movement off the pitch, removing Tammy Beaumont (4) and Amy Jones (8) inside the opening three overs.
