Sri Lanka, July 5 -- Qatar Charity has implemented a transformative health initiative under its health programme to combat blindness in Colombo City area by its Sri Lankan field office. The Cataract Removal Surgery project, funded by Qatar, has brought light back into the lives of many, which consists of 500 needy patients. Qatar Charity also expects to complete one thousand surgeries at a cost of Rs. 44 million by the year end.
