Sri Lanka, Sept. 4 -- Sri Lanka's leading amateur golfers Chalitha Pushpika and Kumara Danushan will carry the island's hopes at the 64th National Amateur Golf Championship of Pakistan, which begins today in Karachi and continues until September 7.

The event will be played over four rounds of stroke play, with a cut coming after the first two rounds to decide the final field. Both players will aim to make the cut and push for top honours against a strong international field.
