Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- Opener Pulindu Perera hit his career best knock of 223 in 241 balls with 19 fours and 8 sixes as Nugegoda SC piled up 346 for 7 wickets declared for their first innings against Army SC in their Under 23, two-day match played at Army grounds, Dombagoda yesterday.

Pulindu Perera a former Rajan cricketer and Under 19 National team member is the most successful batter so far hit first double century of the tournament. He scored two more centuries and two fifties earlier to come on top of batting list of the tournament.
