Sri Lanka, Feb. 15 -- Defence Deputy Minister Major Gen. Aruna Jayasekara (Retd) underscored the importance of working together as citizens and public servants, setting aside differences to effectively implement the Government's initiatives and meet public expectations.

Emphasising the values of cooperation, unity and transparency, the deputy minister stated that integrating practical alignment into one's service role is essential for building a prosperous nation and enhancing the quality of life for the Sri Lankan people as achieving the objectives of the Clean Sri Lanka programme.
