Sri Lanka, Nov. 17 -- Justice Minister Harshana Nanayakkara today (17) told Parliament that the amended Prevention of Terrorism Act is being translated into Tamil and Sinhala. Once the translations are completed, the new Act will be sent for public consultation.
The minister stated that the government has taken steps to make reform laws more robust. He added that this year the government had entered a transformative phase in its pursuit of financial integrity, good governance, and justice, with the enactment of the Proceeds of Crime Act, No. 5 of 2025.
