Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- The Health Ministry is to take measures to upgrade Professor Senaka Bibile Memorial Hospital in Bibile to an A Grade Hospital.
The decision has been taken following a request made by the Buddhist clergy, hospital staff and the residents of the area during Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana's recent visit to the hospital.
According to a concept of the present Health Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana, a special programme has been implemented by the Health Ministry to provide high quality patient-care service to the people by taking immediate measures to fulfill the shortcomings of the district level hospitals.
