Sri Lanka, Jan. 14 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to visit Jaffna to participate in religious and cultural activities in connection with the Thai Pongal Festival on Thursday (15), official sources said.
During the visit, the President is expected to engage in a series of traditional observances reflecting the cultural and religious significance of Thai Pongal in the agrarian calendar. The programme will focus on fostering harmony, cultural recognition and national unity.
