Sri Lanka, Nov. 27 -- An emergency meeting is scheduled to take place this morning (27) at the Parliament, chaired by the President, to assess the ongoing disaster situation caused by adverse weather conditions across the country.

Officials attending the meeting will include the heads of the Disaster Management Centre (DMC), the National Disaster Relief Services Centre (NDRSC), the Police, and the Defence sector, who will review relief operations and coordinate responses to the crisis.
