Sri Lanka, Nov. 20 -- President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will visit the Sri Dalada Maligawa in Kandy and pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic this morning, in keeping with tradition.

Thereafter, he will call on the Venerable Mahanayake Theras of the Malwatte and Asgiriya Chapters of the Siyamopali Maha Nikaya, as well as the Mahanayake Thera of the Sri Lanka Ramanna Maha Nikaya at their respective temples and receive their blessings.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa will be received on arrival at the Sri Dalada Maligawa by the Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela accompanied by the Basnayake Nilames of the Four Main Devalayas.

Opposition Leader and SLPP leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and several Ministers and MPs will be present.
