Sri Lanka, Sept. 27 -- Having successfully concluded his visit to the United States to participate in the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake departed for Japan from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on September 25 night.
At the invitation of the Japanese Government, the President will undertake an official visit to Japan from September 27 to 30.
Accompanying President Dissanayake on this visit is Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath.
