Sri Lanka, Sept. 5 -- The farming village of Malay Colony in Ambalantota, Hambantota, home to the Malay community, will host the National Milad-un-Nabi celebrations today. The event will be attended by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake and several dignitaries. At the centre of this historic moment is the Malay Colony Masjid, which has been fully renovated with the support of the Government, Local Government authorities, and the Army. The mosque, now fully restored will be at the centre of today's events.
