Srilanka, May 5 -- A sculpture of the late Japanese national Norimoto Miura, who established the Nozomi Pre-school Miurajaya Education Centre in Biyagama, was unveiled recently at the Miurajaya Educational Centre.
The event coincided with the 2nd death anniversary of Norimoto Miura.
The sculpture was unveiled by his wife Pumiko Miura and son Makato Miura on the invitation of the School's principal, S.P. Jayarathna. Several other family members of the Miura family were also in attendance.
The Sangha Nayaka of Colombo Navakorale and Namathotamuna and the Principal of Thabilligasmulla Dheerananda Vidyayathana Pirivena, Venerable Panakave Pemarathana Thera, delivered a commemorative oration recalling the late Norimoto Miura's contribution...
