Sri Lanka, May 30 -- Power outages were reported in several parts of the island, including Colombo, today (30), following a night of heavy rain and strong winds (29).

According to reports, multiple trees were uprooted due to the adverse weather conditions, resulting in damage to power lines and widespread electricity disruptions.

Authorities are currently working to restore power and assess the full extent of the damage caused by the severe weather.
