Sri Lanka, March 24 -- The ongoing Pothuhera-Rambukkana Expressway project is being expedited, with measures in place to minimize disruptions for local residents.
This afternoon, Transport, Highways, Ports, and Civil Aviation Minister Bimal Ratnayake and Deputy Minister of Transport and Highways Dr. Prasanna Gunasena conducted an inspection of the expressway's progress.
During the visit, Minister Ratnayake stated that the Pothuhera-Rambukkana section is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.
He directed construction companies and the Road Development Authority (RDA) to take necessary steps to reduce inconveniences for the public and ensure the well-being of construction workers.
