Sri Lanka, March 31 -- The Director General of Legal Affairs of the Presidential Secretariat yesterday informed the Court of Appeal that the President does not intend to implement the recommendations of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to probe incidents of political victimisation at this moment as he wishes to await the final recommendations of the Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry (SPCoI).

President's Counsel Sanjeewa Jayawardena appearing for Attorney Harigupta Rohanadeera, the Legal Affairs Director General of the Presidential Secretariat, informed Court that the President will seek due legal advice before implementing any of the recommendations of the Report of the said Presidential Commission.
