Sri Lanka, Sept. 7 -- Deputy Transport Minister Prasanna Gunasena has announced that several traffic laws will be strictly enforced across Sri Lanka starting tomorrow (08). Police officers will conduct inspections islandwide to ensure full compliance with the regulations.
The enforcement will target violations including driving while unfit for driving, as specified under Section 146 of the Principal Statutes as amended by Section 46 of the Motor Traffic (Amendment) Act, No. 08 of 2009.
