Srilanka, April 21 -- Police Spokesperson SSP Buddhika Manatunga stated that an investigation will be conducted by order of the Acting IGP regarding the alleged misuse of Police security obtained at a fee for a function held at the BMICH to felicitate students who passed the Grade Five Scholarship Exam.

It has been alleged that the Police security obtained for the event had been misused to boost the personal image of the private tuition teacher who organised the event.

Four motorcycles and a Police car had been obtained for the event and it is said that the teacher had allegedly used them as her escort to arrive at the event venue, the BMICH.
