Srilanka, June 11 -- The Sri Lanka Police have issued a statement clarifying the security measures in place for Chabad centers operating in the country, which serve Israeli nationals by offering spaces for religious observances, relaxation, and access to food and beverages.
According to the statement, police stations in areas where Chabad centers are located have been instructed to provide round-the-clock security following reports of potential threats.
Authorities emphasized that any credible threat to the safety of foreign nationals residing in Sri Lanka will be thoroughly assessed and addressed with appropriate protective measures.
