Sri Lanka, Jan. 20 -- The Police Media Division has announced that new telephone numbers have been introduced to gather public information ahead of planned drug raids in 2026.

Members of the public can now provide information directly to Regional Divisional Officers about drugs such as heroin, ice, cocaine, and cannabis, which are prevalent across different parts of the island.

The Police have assured that all information shared will be kept strictly confidential. Citizens are encouraged to use these new channels to assist law enforcement in tackling drug-related crime effectively.

The list of Regional Divisional Officers and their contact numbers has been made available to the public.
