Sri Lanka, Dec. 30 -- A special joint operations and public assistance center has been established in front of the Presidential Secretariat in Colombo Fort to ensure the safety and convenience of the public during the festive season.

The center has been set up to support the large number of people visiting Galle Face Green and Port City, providing a secure environment for festive activities. Operated under the leadership of the Sri Lanka Police with full support from the tri-forces, the center functions 24 hours a day to assist the public in case of any security or emergency needs.
