Sri Lanka, June 21 -- Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament yesterday (20) that Police officers vehicles and other resources can be hired for special events on payment. The Minister said that Police was not involved in any manner in the showering of flowers from a helicopter incident during the recent event carried out by teacher Hayeshika Fernando known as "Teacher Amma" at the BMICH.
