Sri Lanka, Feb. 7 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya assured in Parliament today (07) that the government is committed to taking all necessary legal actions to ensure justice for journalist Lasantha Wickramatunga.

Responding to a letter from Wickramatunga's daughter, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government's firm stance on the case. "Our position on this incident is very clear.

We are dedicated to bringing justice for Lasantha Wickramatunga, both in the past and today," she stated.
