Sri Lanka, Dec. 2 -- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephone conversation with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday (01) regarding the ongoing disaster caused by Cyclone Ditwah.
During the call, Prime Minister Modi expressed his condolences for the loss of lives and the widespread destruction across Sri Lanka. He reaffirmed India's solidarity with the Sri Lankan people and assured continued support under Operation Sagar Bandhu, which has been providing rescue and relief assistance in the affected regions.
