Sri Lanka, Aug. 28 -- A meeting was held today between the Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and delegation from the U.S. Congress House Democracy Partnership (HDP) on August 27, 2025 at the Prime Minister's office.

Welcoming the delegation, the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of partnership of U.S. Congress HDP in promoting accountability, transparency, and legislative capacity, economic growth and reinforcing partnerships in Sri Lanka.
