Srilanka, Feb. 27 -- Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that immediate steps are being taken to release the cut-off marks for the Grade Five Scholarship Examination, which faced disruptions due to the leakage of certain questions. Additionally, recommendations have been made to establish a resource pool and a question paper bank for examination boards to ensure the integrity and security of future examinations.

The Prime Minister made these remarks in Parliament on February 27, in response to a question raised by the opposition regarding the scholarship examination irregularities.
