Sri Lanka, April 8 -- The Sri Lanka Mobile Phone Dealers Association (SLMPDA) highlighted that the benefit of Sri Lankan rupee appreciation against the dollar will be given to local consumers and accordingly the current high prices of all varieties of mobile phones could be reduced to a greater extent.

Addressing a press briefing SLMPDA, President Samith Senerath said the mobile phone users in the country will benefit from this rupee appreciation within the next few days. He said accordingly the high priced Apple iPhone 15 pro max which was earlier sold at Rs. 515,000 will be reduced up to Rs. 375,000.
