Srilanka, March 18 -- The Fundamental Rights Petitions filed to challenge the decision to construct a wind farm in Wedithalathivu, Mannar, in collaboration with India's Adani Group, were withdrawn from the Supreme Court today (18).

The Attorney General informed the court that Adani Group had officially notified the Chairman of the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka of its decision to withdraw from the project. Following this confirmation, the petitioners withdrew their cases.
