Sri Lanka, Oct. 10 -- Sri Lanka's promising youngsters Mayooran Kubheran and Ashlin de Silva produced a superb all-round performance at the ATF Under-16 Colombo Week 2 Tennis Tournament, winning both their singles semifinals and then teaming up to capture the boys' doubles title at the SLTA courts in Colombo yesterday.

Top seed Mayooran Kubheran powered past Nevan Kannangara 6-4, 6-3 with strong baseline play, while second seed Ashlin de Silva defeated Andrew Wijemanne 6-2, 6-4 to set up an all-St. Peter's College final.

The two finalists, both trained by veteran coach Dinith Pathiraja, will face each other in today's singles final in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter between the country's top-ranked juniors. Later in the day...
