Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- People's Bank inaugurated the newly renovated Vincent Subasinghe Memorial Hostel building of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.

The renovation, carried out at a cost of over Rs. 11 million, was undertaken as part of the Bank's Mahajana Mehewara corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The event was graced by People's Bank Chairman, Prof. Narada Fernando, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager, Clive Fonseka, members of the corporate and executive management of the Bank, as well as Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo, Prof. Indika Karunathilake, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Vajira H.W. Dissanayake, Chief Warden, Prof. Sudharshani Wasalathanthri, staff members, and students....
