Sri Lanka, Aug. 1 -- People's Bank has once again stepped forward to sponsor the historic Kandy Esala Perahera, reinforcing its commitment to preserving Sri Lanka's rich cultural heritage.

The Bank's sponsorship cheque was handed over to Pradeep Nilanga Dela, Diyawadana Nilame of the Sri Dalada Maligawa by Nalin Potthewela, Kandy Regional Manager of People's Bank. Also present at the occasion were S.B. Bambaradeniya, Acting Assistant Regional Manager and Prasanna Karunarathne, Senior Manager of the Kandy Super Grade Branch.
