The new education reforms are being introduced to raise every child's educational level by restructuring the system for holistic development, reducing reliance on tuition, improving infrastructure, integrating technology, and ensuring quality access for all through 13 years of universal education, Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperative Development Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe stated in Parliament yesterday.
